The Planning Commission has produced its final report, and this can now be viewed by following the link below.
Labour launched the Planning Commission on 24 September 2018 to help lead the way on a set of planning policies that would endure the planning system rediscovered its vision and once again reflected the needs of communities across the country.
Although the December 2019 General Election meant that the final report could not be finished before a new Government was elected, the recommendations from the Planning Commission did ultimately form part of Labour’s manifesto, and since the election this document has now changed from one that would set the planning agenda for the coming years, to one which hopefully provokes discussion, and highlights the key issues in Planning that the new Government should be addressing.
Thanks go to everyone who took part in the Commission for their support and invaluable input.
We hope you enjoy the report.
